Sometimes I just have to laugh
at all I've done
all the silly words I've said
all the times I've thrown my heart
forward
sometimes you just have to face
everything
and laugh hysterically
sometimes you have to paint your eyes
black and purple
wear high heels and punch a wall
sometimes you have to scream
as loud as you can
sometimes you have to take a risk
and have it fall in front of you
sometimes you have to pick
yourself up
and sometimes you have to ask for help
learning that's not weakness
and sometimes you have to break hearts
allow yours to be broken
sometimes things don't make sense
so you dance in the rain
stretch your arms out and twirl
sometimes you stand next to that boy
laugh, cry and smile madly
not say a single thing to him
cause he's oblivious and such
sometimes you have to let go
fall in love
with everyone and everything
sometimes you have to spend months
waiting for him to come around
move on and find yourself again
watch him walk up to you and ask
for your heart
ask you what you've been waiting to hear
plaster a grin on your face
let a tear fall (one)
and walk away
