Woke up from happy sleep to happy faces
of dogs and friends and a swirling of happiness
like sparks and stars and whirling
of orange yellow
love
Cheerfully chatted with people I may never see
again or again
got my best friend a free coffee
with honesty
and a little bit of
luck
Rode my favorite horse who is the love of
my whole entire life
next to my best friend who is the love of
my whole entire life
the breeze mixing with the sunshine and the
views oh the views
flying up with the crows and hawks
and little song birds
Then driving in my truck who is the love of
my whole entire life
With the windows down listening to
Molly who is the love of my
whole entire life
Down to OB who I'm considering
having an affair with because I honestly
feel a spark
Onward to a place where heaven goes for lunch
a place where they understand the current
need for vegan food that's modern
like cheeseburgers and sweet potato fries
and a "milk" shake that would convert
anyone
to anything
To the beach where we danced on top of the water
and watched two playful pups leap with glee
next to dozens of equally uninhibited dogs
who knew the quality of a moment
and who understood the feeling of being
completely unleashed
more then we ever will
On to the dog wash where
we got soaps and suds all over everything
and sprayed each other with water
So we ended up with clean dogs
and dirty humans
But everyone was smiling
Add some more truck/windows down/
perfect weather/best friends/love of my lives
into this equation
Skipping in the wrong clothes
sitting on the dirty floor in a department store
deciding to sing songs we shouldn't
