It’s quiet now, and you ask for my soul
I can’t give you my heart, I can’t give you my soul
I can’t even give you my body
But I can give you this
I saw a crab on the beach the other day
He had vibrant purple legs
I didn’t know if he was alive
I couldn’t tell
I took a stick, poked him
Prepared for him to crawl away
He didn’t move
As I examined him closer
I realized he was a skeleton
Decieved
So I took him home
Tried to keep him inside,
But he smelled terrible
Now he’s in the forest
A crab skeleton in the forest.
That’s how you make me feel.
A crab skeleton amongst the trees.
And I put myself there.
I can’t give you my heart, I can’t give you my soul
I can’t even give you my body
But I can give you this
I saw a crab on the beach the other day
He had vibrant purple legs
I didn’t know if he was alive
I couldn’t tell
I took a stick, poked him
Prepared for him to crawl away
He didn’t move
As I examined him closer
I realized he was a skeleton
Decieved
So I took him home
Tried to keep him inside,
But he smelled terrible
Now he’s in the forest
A crab skeleton in the forest.
That’s how you make me feel.
A crab skeleton amongst the trees.
And I put myself there.
